Lincolnshire businesses can benefit from new technologies made available to them by the ongoing rollout of superfast broadband across the county, it has been claimed.
Previously, many firms might have found it difficult to make use of high-tech solutions such as voice over internet protocol telephones because poor ADSL connections made them unreliable, but the new internet infrastructure in the region has changed this situation.
With this in mind, onlincolnshire is hosting a digital conference on March 13th aimed at encouraging local companies to adopt new technology, reports the Lincolnshire Echo.
The event - the first of its kind to be organised by the group - is taking place at the DoubleTree by Hilton, in Lincoln. It is to be run in conjunction with digital specialists CDI Alliance.
Company director Stuart McFarlane said: "This conference is aimed at all businesses, to highlight how they can use new technology to boost their turnover."
More than 1,500 local firms supported the onlincolnshire campaign to bring superfast broadband to the county.
