Fast and reliable broadband has become crucial to many businesses throughout the UK and a number of firms are reaping the benefits of improving their connectivity.
One area where these advantages are set to be felt is Lincolnshire. The government's Broadband Delivery UK (BDUK) project is expected to bring super-fast internet to the county by the spring of next year and local firms told the Scunthorpe Telegraph they are eagerly awaiting its arrival.
Adam Rye, who runs the Reincarnate Safety shop in Barton-Upon-Humber, said better internet access would boost his company's online sales.
He told the newspaper: "I rely on the internet connection to be quick … getting a faster broadband speed can only be good for the area."
Meanwhile, Joanne Dixon of Scunthorpe-based HBP Systems said the firm would "100 per cent welcome" an improved online service.
If you are keen to enjoy the advantages of a better internet connection, but do not stand to benefit from the BDUK scheme or cannot wait for it to arrive, satellite broadband provides a fast and reliable service and is available now.
